2026 is officially shaping up to be our most exciting year yet at The View Restaurant – and we cannot wait to share what we have planned for you! After a well-deserved break, we’re back open from this Friday, refreshed, recharged and ready to serve up everything you love (and more). We’ve truly missed you all and can’t wait to welcome you back through our doors.

Improved Opening Hours – More Time for Good Food

First up, we’re making your dining experience even better with improved opening hours. From now on, we’ll be serving our main menu from 12 noon on our opening days, meaning you can enjoy your favourites earlier in the day. Lunch plans? Sorted.

We’re also extending our Sunday opening hours until 7pm, which means one very important thing…
Our legendary Sunday roast boards are now available until late!
No more rushing your plans or missing out – you can enjoy a proper, indulgent roast whenever suits you best. Sundays just got even better.

Exciting Events & Themed Nights – Coming Soon

2026 is the year of fun at The View! We’re working behind the scenes to bring you a whole host of new events and themed nights throughout the year. Think great food, great vibes and unforgettable evenings.

Valentine’s Done Your Way

We know life is busy, and not everyone can celebrate on the exact day – so this year, we’ve got you covered.

Our Valentine’s specials will run from Wednesday 11th February to Saturday 14th February, giving you the flexibility to celebrate when it suits you. Whether you’re working, can’t get childcare or just want to avoid the weekend rush, you can still enjoy all the romance, indulgence and fun with your special someone.

Mothering Sunday – Book Early!

Mothering Sunday is always a huge hit at The View, and 2026 will be no different. We’ll be serving up our famous roast boards until late, making it the perfect way to spoil Mum.

A little heads up – last year we were fully booked very quickly, so we strongly recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. Let’s make Mum’s day extra special.

Seasonal Menus & Local Ingredients

Just like last year, we’ll continue to refresh our menus seasonally, bringing you the finest locally sourced ingredients Yorkshire has to offer. Supporting local suppliers and showcasing incredible produce is something we’re truly passionate about – and you’ll taste the difference in every dish.

After our break, we’re reopening this Friday and honestly… we can’t wait to see your faces again. Your support means everything to us, and we’re so excited to kick off an incredible year together.
